Rev. Helen Bodell, MDiv: Study Therapist
Helen is the Director of the Center for Spiritual Care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Prior to joining Dana-Farber in January 2023, she served as Multifaith Chaplain and Coordinator of Spiritual Care at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, RI, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide spiritual care, antenatal to end of life. She has served at Connecticut Hospice, Hospice Care of Rhode Island (HopeHealth), and VNA Hospice at Kent Hospital, as well as at Boston Children’s Hospital and in nursing home settings in Rhode Island and Connecticut. Helen holds a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School with five units of Clinical Pastoral Education. She collaborates with multifaith chaplains at each Dana-Farber site to support the spiritual health of patients, families, and staff in a model of whole person care.
